Then, they can simply insert the strip and take their measurement. The latest version of the iGluco app (iOS 4.7 or later; Android 4.7.0 or later) is required to use these new iHealth test strips.

The iHealth EGS-2003 test strips are a 2019 version, using the GDH-FAD enzyme and offering several advantages over the older version. They are not affected by oxygen, galactose, or maltose, and have a longer shelf life of 5 months after opening the vial, compared to 3 months for the older version. Additionally, the new strips do not require QR code scanning, providing a more streamlined user experience.

To get started, users need to charge their iHealth Smart Glucometer using the included USB charging cable. Once the blue battery indicator stops blinking, the device is ready for use. Next, they should download and install the iHealth Gluco-Smart app from the Apple or Android app stores. After powering on the glucometer and connecting it to the app via Bluetooth, users can proceed to take their glucose measurements.

The iHealth EGS-2003 test strips are FDA cleared and Medical CE approved, with operating conditions ranging from 50°F to 95°F. They provide instantaneous results with a tiny 0.7 μL blood sample. All readings are securely stored in the cloud, and users have the option to export their data as an Excel, PDF, or CSV file to share with their healthcare provider or family members.
