PTS Diagnostics (Diabetes) System (20 Strips)

The A1CNow+ monitor comes with 20 test strips designed to measure the percentage of glycated hemoglobin (%A1C) in capillary (fingerstick) or venous whole blood samples. The accuracy of the test results from the A1CNow system is intended to be as accurate as sending a sample to a lab. However, it is important to note that test results may not match exactly, even for repeated tests performed in the same lab, due to factors such as slight differences between labs, normal variation within each test method (venous vs. finger-stick), time between tests, temperature, and humidity.

A1C tests are not designed to be performed within days of another with the expectation of exact or similar results. The percentage of A1C in your blood today reflects how well you have been controlling your blood sugar levels over the past 2-3 months. Approximately 50% of the A1C result is from the past 30 days of blood sugar levels, 25% is from the past 30-60 days, and 25% is from the past 60-90 days. Differences in what you ate, changes you made, or the time of day of the tests could result in a different test result.

Please note that lancets are purchased separately, and it is important to read the full instructions in the insert included with the product. You will receive one analyzer to use with the 20 test strips included, and once you have used the 20 strips, you will need to throw away the analyzer included in the package. Each kit will come with an analyzer that is specifically coded for the number of test strips included with it.

It is important to note that the expiration dates may vary, and it is recommended to ask a question about the product for the current dates.

The A1CNow+ monitor detects hemoglobin A1C with results in 5 minutes, and no fasting is required. This product is intended for professional use only.
