Since these dressings only need to be changed every three to seven days, they cause minimal wound disruption, which helps to speed up wound healing and minimize wound pain.

To remove the dressing, users should press down on the skin and carefully lift the dressing, starting at one edge and pulling towards the center of the wound until the dressing is removed. The wound should then be cleansed with saline solution or an appropriate wound cleanser, if necessary.

EalionMed Hydrocolloid Wound Dressings should be changed when they are saturated, indicated by a color change from pale yellow to white, in the event of a leakage, or if the dressing becomes uncomfortable for the patient. These dressings can be used for up to 7 days, depending on the patient's exudate levels.
